new shoes

I knew it would happen.

I just didn’t think it would happen before he became a teenager.

Asher officially wears a size 13 shoe.

As big as his daddy wears.

And Chris has some seriously big feet.

When Chris was young, his mom used to tell him to just wear the shoe boxes instead of the shoes. That the boxes would fit him longer.

I’m beginning to understand her thinking.

Thankfully, we’ve got 6pm.com. And a very easy-to-please guy. His new leather hi-tops cost just $11.99… which makes it a whole lot easier to love those size 13 feet.

6pm.com???? Never heard of it! Had to laugh! My kids are growing like weeds and unfortunately their feet take after me…I’m only 5′ 1” and wear a 10 ladies! At 40 years old I’m still waiting for my vertical growth spurt!

Oh our growing boys!…I feel the pain. Dawson just grew into a size 10…and though the shoes are doing okay, I cannot keep up with his pants! He just grew another inch for the 2nd time since school started! He is now 5’10… it won’t be long and he’ll pass his mama up (only 1/2″ to tie me)… can’t seem to keep the boy in jeans these days. It seems every time there is a ‘dress up’ event all of his dress pants are too short, too. UGHHHH! But I love what Lisa said, “Big feet and big hearts go together. Thank God for Big Footed boys that grow into big hearted men!” I’ll second that! ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh thanks for the tip! My husband wears a 16+ and my 13 year old is on his way to follow in those footsteps! Nordstrom Rack can be good sometimes too!

BTDT! Age 12 and 4 months, he hit 13. He’s now 13 years and 1 month and it’s still a 13…thankfully. I was not prepared for it that early either. Since we have extended family members who wear size 15 and size 16…I’m thankful for the link! ๐Ÿ™‚
