Jet lag…

is a funny thing.

And we’re in the thick of it now.

But I wanted to get these few pictures up while I’m alert awake conscious.

Because these first few days home are so very precious. And easily forgotten in a jet-lagged haze.

Tallula is another story, though. She’s a snooze-time rockstar.

She slept from 9:30 last night until 8:00 this morning.

I’ve only been sleeping 4 to 5 hours at night.

And suffering from the effects of too little sleep.

Sore legs.

Red eyes.

Lack of coherent thought.

But this too shall pass.

Seeing my girlie running around in the sunshine with her big brothers and sisters most definitely makes it all worthwhile.

Miss Tallula is quite the superstar around here.

She loves being the center of attention.

And she loves to have things to do. People to see. Places to go.

Around here, there is always something going on.

Poppy isn’t quite sure what she thinks of Tallula, though.

She’s reserving her judgement. For later.

Somehow, I think Tallula is going to win her over.

    Gasp!

    Positively adorable.

And jet-lag…oh friend, how I feel for you! Hate, hate, hate that feeling!

Life will be super sweet once you are coherent again!

Priceless. Poppy cracks me up. I remember she, and Vivi didn’t like each other too much at first either. LOL. They are all too cute. Really. What a blessed mom. 12 cute adorable kids. It doesn’t get any better than that.

Happy you’re home. Tallula is a cutie pie. I feel for you, with the jet lag and all. Say, what did Miss T do to her head? It looks like she got a booboo in her pix today. Congrats on your new little China doll. πŸ™‚

Looks like Tallula hit the ground running, literally. She looks like she’s been with you for months in those photos; she fits right in. Hoping Poppy doesn’t have too difficult a time with the adjustment; it can take some time for feathers to get unruffled. Praying you get some much needed rest!

So glad you are coherent enough to operate your camera!!!! God clearly chose the perfect match for your sweet family! She looks SO happy!!!!! Sweet Poppy… She must be wondering who is this “Tiny Tornado” you brought home to rock my world!!! I sense she and Tallula will be the best of buds, and that “TT” will help Poppy know that she is always safe and loved when her sister is around!!!!

    Precious!
