Today marks two months since we’ve been home from China with Tallula.
This girl.
Everything, and I mean everything, she does is flat out.
100%.
All-in.
Full throttle.
And to be honest, she’s sort of taken us by surprise.
Which – at our age – is not an easy thing to do.
We’re having to come up with some parenting strategies for a child that is always into something.
Sometimes that’s a good thing. And sometimes that’s not.
The girl loves her some corn.
And I find myself buying it every time we go to the grocery, just so I can watch her smile when she sees it coming.
She also loves markers, standing on furniture, and putting toilet paper in the potty.
So we’re working towards finding a balance between the good and the not-so-good.
But one thing is for sure. We are so glad to have our tiniest tornado home.
She just makes life around here a whole lot more fun.
Sweet Tallula….I think you might just be the cherry on top of this magnificent Sundae of Family!
She is such a doll!!
Wow! What a cute little girly… a tornado! Good luck on finding that balance! Enjoy her~~
🙂 I think I’d start growing corn just to enjoy watching her eat it!
She is ADORABLE!!! 😀 Perry is currently taking down some corn… dipped in ranch dressing! Gag! :/
oh boy!! she is just too cute!!!!!!!! And, I wish my Tahlia would eat her some corn like that! LOL…she wont even touch any fruits or veggies???
I can;t believe its already been 2 months! wow!! God bless little Tallula!
She sounds like a little firecracker! I love that she loves corn on the cob…my Cadie is in the same club as Johanna’s Tahlia. If I put them in front of her, she just sweetly pushes them away with a “no sank you.” At least she’s polite about it! Happy 2 months Tallula!
perfect post! love stuff like this!!
I swear our little guy and your sweet girl are one and the same. We say our Judd (2 1/2) is always “on” and just came home that way. He is louder than anyone in our house and knows how to make an entrance in a room. I tell my husband that I need at least one cup of coffee before I get him out of his crib. So busy. So fun. She looks like such a good time! 🙂
These pictures are killing me!!! Love her!
She sounds like a delight in every way…and sure to keep you all laughing for years to come…and such a good match for your sweet, quiet Poppy!!!
So cute! Get used to it, Stefanie, she’s from HUBEI !!! LOL!
I know of which I speak! And it’s completely exhausting, but ALL GOOD!!!
I LOVE HER!!!! She can come tear up my house any day. Looks like fun 😉
Oh my goodness….she is just too cute, Stefanie. Happy two months home!!!!!!!
Oh my God! She is sooo cute, lol!!!! 🙂
So, so happy for you guys! She is absolutely adorable. She is just filled with personality!
She is beyond precious! The last photo is my favorite.
Beautiful!!!
We have an all or nothing girl~If you find things that work let me know, cuz our girl has been home for almost two years and I am tired!! LOL
Oh I could just EAT HER UP!!!!
You can see that big bright personality shining through in every last photo!!!
Happy Two Months Pretty Girl!!!
xoxo,
Lisa
How many “tricks into trouble” has she taught Poppy now? LOL You can see that spark in every photo. She’s such a cutie, that even when she is a tornado, you just have to love on her!
She is a little spitfire that’s for sure. She cracks me up with her little ‘tude. You and Chris are doing a wonderful job parenting her – I saw that in the way you talked with her about her drawing on the table and herself and not on the paper. Hope everyone is doing well!
hugs,
Carla
