our other neighbors

I’ve shared with y’all about our next door neighbors.

We love ’em.

Recently we’ve been able to spend some time hanging out with our other neighbors.

And, well… they’re pretty awesome, too.

He’s a horse-lover. She’s got a coop full of chickens.

They both love Jesus.

And they have a lake. In their back yard.

Their back yard being approximately 500 acres.

We’ve started a Bible study at their house, once a week.

Kids invited.

Honestly, anyone brave kind enough to invite a family of 13 over weekly is pretty incredible in my book.

It’s been over 10 years since we’ve been some where that we could not only hang out, but fellowship with our neighbors.

God has definitely blessed us in this place.

Praying we get to stay here a long, long time.

That is truly awesome! We do not have that here where we live and we keep praying for the Lord to lead us to the right property so we can expand a bit and lovely Christian neighbors to fellowship with would be incredible! Praise Him for this blessing in your life!

Sounds wonderful!!! (And 500 acres? Wow, I can’t even picture something that big.)

500 ACRES????!!!!! I couldn’t even fathom 10 when you first wrote it. This is coming from a tried and true city gal… I thought having two tiers in my backyard constituted as BIG.

    Wow.

Sounds like you guys found a special place to live with a lot of special, caring folks around you.

That is what I miss most about the move here-leaving our wonderful next door neighbors.

    Glad you are blessed.

They invite you all over WEEKLY?? That is amazing! We are a family of 7 and rarely get invited anywhere (the last time we were invited over our two youngest girls wandered upstairs and got into some finger paint – need I say more?)
