    • Sunday Snapshot

Sunday Snapshot: {G.G.}

My mom, known as G.G. around here, is in town.

So a quick photo shoot was in order.

I took these with my Nikon D90 and my new lens, a 24-70mm f/2.8. My settings were ISO 800, 34mm, f/2.8, 1/160. I edited these in CS6 with Florabella Classic Color and Rosy Cream.

If you’re ready to play along, here’s a quick overview of Sunday Snapshot.

1. Snapshot posts should have the photo to be considered AT THE TOP of the Sunday Snapshot post, and should include the Sunday Snapshot button as well as a link back here to encourage others to play along.
2. Photos entered must belong to entrant.
3. Share any photography tips and/or settings on your posts for others (like me!) who are learning – this is encouraged but certainly not required.
4. I’ll review each Snapshot entry and then select a favorite to be announced on Wednesday.
5. The winning Snapshot will be selected based on composition, color, emotion, creativity and post-processing.
6. Weekly winners will be featured in a monthly Sunday Snapshot post which will be judged by y’all, the readers.
7. The winner of the monthly Sunday Snapshot will receive a photography related goodie donated by the Sunday Snapshot monthly sponsor. July’s Sunday Snapshot sponsor is My 4 Hens Photography.
8. Rules subject to change, as necessary, to keep this fun and fruitful for everyone.

To link up this week with your Sunday Snapshot, just copy the code under the Snapshot button and paste it into the body of your post where you’d like the button to be displayed.

When you hit ‘publish’ it should show up just fine. Then add your link below.

Happy Sunday, y’all.

When my husband retired from the Army our daughter was five years old. Although Florida was not our number one place to settle down..it was where both sets of grandparents lived….and so we have been here going on twelve years now…we have never regretted that choice…grandparents are such a blessing for our children! Beautiful photos and I love that you put the information with it.

These are so lovely. We always do this when my mom visits. Helps document not only the visit but how the kids are growing through the visits. Fond memories to look back on for sure!

I love how comfortable the girls look with their grandmother… Poppy leaning into her and Talulla’s head on her lap. Talulla hasn’t known her very long but is already feeling the G.G. love. Any picture with both Poppy and Talulla makes my day!

Gorgeous gorgeous pictures Stef… I think YOU should be winning the Sunday Snapshot this week! 🙂 The girls are just gorgeous and their dresses ar so pretty.

I can’t decide between the lens you bought or the 50mm 1.2 for our trip to China… decisions decisions! Your pictures are definitely swaying me towards the 24-70 2.8. 🙂

Beautiful pictures. Your mom is very pretty.
Do the other kids ever get jealous about how many pics you post of the two year olds compared to the rest of the kids? Just curious. My kids get jealous about everything.

I love that your mom is called G.G., my mom refers to herself with the children as the same. It stands for Gorgeous Grandma..what a riot huh? Now that my oldest had her first, it is G.G.G. Great Gorgeous Grandma:)

How beautiful! I LOVE #3 because it looks like GG is saying with her eyes “Stefanie….I think you’ve outdone yourself this time!”! I think she realizes you have multiplied your spit-fire numbers with these 2!!

GiGi….well, now…I’ve seen her before and thought she looked fabulosity…but seeing her here she looks OUTSTANDING….is she aging in reverse? A regular Benjamin Button? Dang Gurl, you got some GOOD genes! I love seeing her with all her grand babies.

Oh, and you’re rockin’ that camera, Stef!!! LOVE every single thing about these shots!
