Happy 4th of July!
Hope y’all have some fun plans for celebrating Independence Day. We are heading out in a bit to a local fireworks display… we’re all pumped to enjoy our first 4th of July since Poppy and Tallula have been home!
Such a great week of Snapshots. I visited every link, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to comment on every post. But I was there! I’m getting to know some of y’all more and more and I’m really enjoying checking in on you weekly!
Because of all the great entries, y’all made it really hard on me to pick just five to feature here. But, eventually, I did. And let me say, these five are spectacular captures. Way to rock those cameras, ladies!
And be sure to vote for your favorite June Snapshot. The race is really tight, so be sure to get your vote counted!
So, back to my favorites this week…
From Lisa at the Long Road to China
Gail at Aging With Grace and Strong Will
Sharon at I Should Be Cleaning House
Sarah at the Naptime Momtog
And Twiggy at Shoot by Twiggy
My most favorite from this week was this one. So simple but yet so very striking. The perspective, the composition, and the minimal post processing all lend to make this one spectacular image. I just couldn’t stop looking at.
Way to go, Gail. Your picture will be entered into this month’s Sunday Snapshot post, to be voted on by y’all, the readers. The July sponsor is Sarah from My 4 Hens Photography and the July winner will receive a $250 shopping spree in her shop.
If your photo was featured today, feel free to grab this button for some blog swag. If you like blog swag.
If you haven’t joined in yet, but want to improve your photography skills, I hope you’ll give it a shot. And be sure to read the other Sunday Snapshots linked each week, many of them have details on the settings as well as photography and/or editing tips.
Last week Amber did a great tutorial on iPhone photography, amazing what one can do with an iPhone.
See y’all on Sunday!
Thank you Stefanie!! You truly made my day. It must have been hard to choose because the other photos are amazing!
These are all so gorgeous!!!!!!!!!! I just love seeing my sweet friends featured here
I love Gail’s photo!!! So wistful, summery and beautiful all at once. The minimal post processing on this one makes it even more special! Well done!!
🙂
Thank you for featuring me. 🙂
