Poppy and Lula

Alternately titled: Lula and Poppy.

Because some days, things are that competitive around here.

Tallula and Poppy are 6 months apart.

Tallula came home less than 9 months after Poppy.

We’ve read the books. We’ve done the research. And we have two other sets of ‘virtual’ twins.

But oh. my. word.

Thankfully, this competitiveness has improved from competing over everything….

like toileting

sitting on mama’s lap

and playing with one. specific. toy.

But it still comprises a big part of some days.

What Poppy does, Tallula wants to do.

Where Poppy goes, Tallula wants to go.

What Poppy has, Tallula wants.

You get the picture.

Interestingly, while I was in Iowa with Poppy, Chris said he had no issues with Tallula’s naughty streak.

Huh?

Not sure if it was not having Poppy around, or not having me around. Maybe having Daddy around 24/7.

Or maybe she was just uninspired.

But, as soon as we got home, our wild child resurfaced.

And she’s been in full force ever since.

Really, we’ve grown to love her for all those reasons – plus so many more.

And we wouldn’t have her any other way.

LOL I know naughty is not funny but she is so cute how can you not laugh…Our Livi is really loud and our Addison is very dramatic..I always say, with 6 children they each have to do something to stand out and make their mark in our family LOL Love the post.

Poor Poppy! But what is annoying now, will be a memory and endearing later. I’m sure you’ve had the “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery” talk [as much as you can at the “little” level]!.

Bet the the bigger “littles” are laughing a little at how that “annoying” Poppy is now getting hers! ๐Ÿ™‚

Wait… is that a dog collar?
Oh my goodness, they are SO sweet! And a handful! My virtual twins are now turning 5… and it’s still a handful. Not sure that changes.

My girsl are 2 1/2 months apart and came home 18 months apart and the youngest has that same wild streak and does everything she can to get all of my attention. She doesn’t act as bad with anyone else but with me around it can be bad some days.

This series just makes me smile from ear to ear and I can only imagine what they are like together.
I am sure it can be trying at times, but there is a such a sweetness about it.
