forgive me…

But the Poppy-birthday-picture-fest continues.

As a self-professed Poppy addict, I just can’t resist.

Last installment, I promise.

She had such fun being the birthday girl.

She had anticipated her big day for weeks, inquiring daily, “My birthday coming, mama?”

And finally, the day arrived.

She ripped open all her gifts and squealed when she saw what was inside each box..

She went after her candles without hesitation.

And grinned so big when she blew them all out.

She chose her most favorite cake pops.

And proceeded to eat her weight in them.

In other words, I’m pretty sure her big day was all she’d hoped it would be.

*whew*

P.S. For anyone who is curious about what this 3 year old girlie loves, she got a Dream Lite Unicorn, a Dance and Learn with Mei Mei DVD and a Kid Zoom camera. In pink, of course.

Happy Happy Birthday darlingest Poppy!! My heart has followed you since before you joined your wonderful family. I have been praying for you since I first saw your picture!! You are such a precious little light and I’m so thrilled to see how far you have come since those first fearful days. Your smile that was once so elusive is now bright and bountiful. You are such a blessing sweet girl and I know you will continue to grow and thrive and bring your family so much joy and pride.

Happy Birthday Poppy!! God Bless your sweet heart!!!

Amen, Yvette! That’s what I was telling myself as Victoria and I were fumbling and sweating, trying to get those darned things made!

Oh, pink sweetie, you are so beautiful. Happy Birthday again!! <3

I love her gifts! I thought my six year old was still too little for a 'real' camera, but now I will definitely buy her one. 😛

And please explain to me, 'Frustration-Free Packaging' means that you actually DON'T need half an hour to open the darn box? That is so cool, and it should be implemented on EVERY TOY! :))))

Brilliant – and beautiful – but mostly full of love and joy…

and that’s what a child’s life should be!

Happy Birthday Poppy – so glad to “know” you!

    hugs – aus and co.
