My babies.
This mini photo shoot was spur-of-the-moment. The weather was perfect and all the girls wanted to do was run around outside.
And all I had to do was follow them.
Oh, and promise them candy.
First is Miss Poppy. Just turned 3. Thinks she’s 23.
She loves to get her nails painted.
And has been known to call her oldest sister on the phone to inform her that she needs to get home and apply a new coat of polish.
Pronto.
She loves to be read to.
Er, I mean, she loves to read.
She’s memorized every No, David book in the house. Word for word.
All she needs is a backpack and I think she’d be ready for kindergarten.
And then there is my sweet Tallula.
Pretty much the polar opposite of Poppy.
As dainty and tidy as Poppy is, Tallula is rowdy. And messy.
And busy.
She always seem to be one step away from disaster.
Or smack-dab in the middle of it.
She is such a happy-go-lucky child.
Almost always has a smile on her face. Emphasis on almost.
And is so quick to forgive any offense.
I just love her sweet spirit.
These two fight like cats and dogs.
If one has it, the other wants it.
If one asks a question, the other asks it, too… before I can even answer.
It’s virtual twinning at is most chaotic.
But I, honestly, would not change a thing.
Okay, I might be 10 years younger. But that’s it.

Your Talulla sounds a lot like my Stella: she loves to get dirty, run around and scream, and refuses to wear baretts, bows or any shoes but one pair. She’s a rowdy, crazy haired, fun and little sweetheart though. Sounds so similar to yours!
Lovely autumn clolours and rosy cheeks. Is there anything better?
