Sunday Snapshot: {on the couch}

I’m not gonna lie.

I barely picked up my camera again this week.

But I just had to capture this.

My sweet whirlwild-of-a-child, Tallula. Completely and totally still.

She woke up yesterday morning and promptly wanted to go right back to sleep.

And when she woke up for the second time, she wasn’t feeling much better.

Tired. Upset stomach. Just wanting to be held.

This is what our sweet girl looked like most of yesterday as she lay on the couch watching Team Oomie Zoomie.

Again. And again.

Thankfully, she woke up this morning feeling significantly better.

And as the day has progressed, she’s almost back to her wild-child-self.

The downside is that whatever Tallula had seems to be extremely contagious.

And tonight Vivienne and Isabelle are camped out on the couch, trash cans at arm’s length.

Hoping and praying this runs its course before Christmas.

    Sorry your babies aren’t feeling well. Is it bad when they get sick that I like their “slowness” and my ability to cover them in hugs and TLC? Hmmmmm

    All I can think of as a Momma of many is “oh no.” Hoping and praying you can stop it in its tracks. Might I suggest covering your furniture with a sheet or blanket to help with spread of the germies. Then when that sick person is better, you throw it in a hot water wash. Other than that, lots and lots of bleach spray through the air and on door knobs, sink handles, etc. Mix 1 part bleach with 3 parts water.

    Oh my goodness- it breaks my heart. Hope she feels better soon!!! No fun being sick on Christmas. For many years the only time my kids would get sick was when we would get together with my sister-in-law & her family a week before Christmas. It never failed- my kids would always come down with something soon after & be miserable on Christmas day. I am so hoping that little Tallula recovers quickly & can enjoy her holiday.

    Oh such a doll baby! THis “bug” has been making it’s way through our family as well. Last night was my night. Slight headache today, pretending it’s nothing. Too much going on to be down for the count! Merry Christmas to you and yours!
