fit for a princess

On Wednesday mornings, Chris goes to a men’s Bible study.

Where they eat donuts.

Evidently, all the guys there think we need the donuts more than anyone. Because Chris always has a box full in hand when he comes home.

Doggoneit.

This morning, I surprised the girls when they woke up with donuts.

On their new pink dishes – some pink Fiestaware I scored at the Goodwill.

I found a set of 8 cups and saucers. For $15.

But don’t tell them.

They’re convinced these are princess dishes.

Because they are pretty much all about princesses these days.

No one talked much over breakfast.

But I think it would be safe to say, the princesses were pretty pleased.

Stefanie, this post made me cry – you have the most beautiful princesses in the whole wide world!!
Even if they are not the only ones (I’ve got another one in my house – but she doesn’t have pretty princess dishes…).
Thank you for sharing this moment of princess bliss.

What precious pictures! I have two “princes” at my house…so, no pink dishes! But when we finally bring our little China doll home there most certainly will be! Seeing their beautiful little faces makes me excited and longing for that day even more! Thank you for sharing!

Well, it doesn’t get much better than that! Goodwill…well, let’s just say that without that place I’d not have much of anything in my house, closet, etc. LOVE Goodwill and Value Village. The dishes are a great find, but, the face of that littlest princess is priceless. (the last pic) ๐Ÿ™‚
