She’s nine now.
Home from China as an 11 month old, Isabelle has been surrounded by her forever family for all of her nine birthdays. 
When this very special day arrives each year, we celebrate even more than her birthday.
We celebrate that, nine years ago, God first laid adoption on our hearts.
First, on Chris’ heart.
Then mine soon followed.
We’ve never, ever been the same.
So grateful – in so many ways – that God brought this child into the world.
And into our lives.

Happy 9th birthday Isabelle 🙂 My girl turned 9 yesterday, adopted from China at age 12 months and 11 days old…..so we just missed her first birthday ! But we have celebrated 9 birthdays even though she wasn´t with us her first birthday…..she was with us in our hearts 🙂 Birthday photos of her in my blog !
