… to camp.
Monday through Thursday.
And, if you can’t tell, they were over the top excited about it.
In fact, it was the most often discussed subject for weeks leading up to “go time”.
Mama’s taking it a little harder.
I know they’ll have a great time. I know they’ll learn a lot about Jesus.
It’s just not easy to let them go an hour away. Overnight.
An hour away.
Is it Thursday yet?

They are just too cute, Stephanie! I know what you mean about the going away stuff. I haven’t let my 13 venture off very far yet.

The Gang's Momma says
Oh, I feel ya!!!! This summer is the first time that so many of my gang have been away more than one night and somewhere OTHER than family. Last summer, it was Argentina for Shaggy. But this summer, it’s camp for Shaggy (as a leader) and LadyBug (as a camper). THEN it was Dr. D and LadyBug for a three day local event. NOW, it’s Dr. D to ALASKA for a church missions trip. It is awesome for them but hard on momma. I feel like I’m stalking the AK team, looking for news on my boy 🙂 And they’ve only been gone since Monday afternoon! 🙂
