birthday boy

I know, y’all.

It’s a dog.

noah35

And I made him a hat.

Okay, you might even call it a crown.

noah32

And took his picture.

And fed him bits of cheese.

noah31

All to celebrate his birthday.

Help.

This ship is sinking fast.

We deeply love our fur babies b/c they deeply love us. They give us unconditional love and support and devotion. We have no choice but to love and adore them just as much in return. Do my babies have a private suite with a four poster bed when they have to go to the pet hotel? Yes. Is there a TV tuned to Animal planet playing when we leave the house at any given time? Yes. Do I obsessively research their food and make sure it’s free from grains and other things that upset doggies tummies and dull their coats? Um YES. I am unapologetic in my utter and complete devotion to my fur babies. Isn’t everyone? 😉 Noah is very dear and I know he is so very happy to be part of such a large pack!! Happy Birthday Noah!!!

You are in good company! I used to bathe and blow dry my Schnauzer and then take his pictures because he looked so cute!……I did it EVERY other week…….Sick I know but he loved it!
Now I do it with the cats. My kids call me a crazy cat lady and it might be my age, but I’m okay with that.
    Love him up!

This is the second post in a week where I was anticipating cute pictures of your sons or husband(“Hello Handsome” and “Birthday Boy”) and was disappointed to see animals instead, haha! I must admit that this guy is pretty cute, especially wearing a felt crown.

THAT FACE!! I would be smitten, too. And, for the commenter above (Amy)- I baby my Schnauzer FAR more than my kids, because he appreciates it and doesn’t roll his eyes! He also does what I tell him to, and seriously- the beard?

How could you resist the face in that last pic? He definitely deserved celebrating! 🙂
