Lula Mae

A week ago, Lula asked to play *dress up*.

Which really is just Lula asking permission to rummage through her closet, pull 90% of the clothes off the hangers, and pick an outfit she deems to be a dress up kind of outfit.

On this day, she chose a hot pink tutu and a t-shirt that said Joy.

(I posted a picture of her over on Instagram which I have just re-discovered, and to which I am now completely addicted.)

Well, she was quite pleased with her dress up selection, specifically her tutu. And seemed to think wearing a tutu gave her some sort of super-power…

Twirling.

And I told her, “Of course it does, baby.”

Then I proceeded to try to snap a picture with my iPhone to show her just how super her twirling power was.

But.

I love my iPhone for lots of things, and capturing a super twirler is not one of them.

So, despite the fact that dinner was only partially complete (thank you, Victoria for managing to feed us that night) – Lula, my big camera and I headed out to try again.

And this time I think we did a little better.

There’s no one like Lula Mae, super-twirler.

And now I have the pictures to prove it.

Loved this! I have the Ivy Joy tee also. ๐Ÿ™‚ Wouldn’t it be fun if Kendal and Lula could have a “reunion”? ๐Ÿ™‚

She is such a little lady! So different from the little round baby that we first saw a picture of! Just precious.
