her heart

Would y’all please keep Clementine in your prayers? Specifically her sweet little heart?

We have learned that her heart condition is more serious than we had anticipated. And she will be undergoing heart surgery in China in the very near future.

clementineupdate

And that’s pretty much all we know, but our agency is doing all they can to keep us updated.

Not gonna lie, this mama heart of mine is quivering. Memories of my beloved Esther cannot be stemmed and I cry. I cry for Esther. I cry for Clementine. I cry for babies who are broken hearted.

So grateful that she will be receiving the surgery she needs – and trusting that the Lord, who created her and who loves her more than I can comprehend, will be holding her in the palm of His hand.

The LORD your God is with you, He is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.

Yesterday, my 4-year-old named her doll Clementine. You can tell we are thinking of you and praying for you. 🙂 Praying now more earnestly and specifically. God’s with you!

We will be praying!! One thing our pediatric cardiologist told us when we were bringing home our son with his “special heart” was that they do far more heart surgeries in China than here in the States and that the surgeons in China are very skilled. Praying that Clementine has the best surgeon over there to help her and that this gives you some small amount of comfort in your mama’s heart…… <3

Praying for precious Clementine. She is so beautiful! My sweet sister (adopted from China Feb 2014) was also a heart baby. She is now an angel just like your precious Esther. Will be praying for Clementine!

Praying for your sweet Clementine. For her heart to hang in there, for God to guide her surgeon’s hands, and the anesthesiologist’s and for Him to hold YOUR heart in his hands as you wait to have your daughter in your arms. Take comfort in knowing that He has got this.

Prayers Stefanie. I remember when we learned Joel was having heart surgery in China and I also remember the updates we were given were very frightening. He was in the hospital nearly 6 weeks while we were chasing the LOA. And I also remember when we learned Susannah was so ill and in the hospital and that they couldn’t do anything to help her. If you need to talk to someone, I’m always here. I know that doesn’t help much, but anytime I’m here if you need to talk. I will listen. And I will be praying.

One of the little girls we are adopting from China has a severe heart condition. She had major heart surgery last November and looks amazing, unlike the pale blue she looked in the first pictures I saw of her. Praying that Clementine’s surgery will go as well. It is scary knowing she is going through so much when you are not there with her, but God is with her all the way and you will soon be able to love on your sweet girl. Praying for all of you.

so hard when you hear they are having surgery and you’re not there to hold them and comfort them and make sure everything is OK– you are right– God knows the plans He has for her- plans for her future.. Praying that God gives you peace beyond understanding, and theta little Clementine will be loved and cherished by her caretakers during this time, and that her surgery is successful.
