Fun Times!! Shepherd doesn’t look like he seems to mind the clinic! How’s he doing on the plane? Are you getting some interesting conversations in your travels? Love seeing Lisa’s boys with Shepherd!!
Wonderful progress on cast #1! Hooray! I’m so glad that you had a safe trip! Have you thought ahead to the fact that Jude and Shepherd might be using their FABs for sword fighting in the near future? ๐ Jenny
Wow, I am so impressed with this procedure. I never read up much on this need as I knew immediately upon seeing my daughter that she was my girl and never looked back. You have a beautiful family and I envy you all the little ones.
Look at the joy on that little boys face. He knows that he will soon run around the yard with the wind in his hair. What a little man. So many changes and still smiling. Beautiful.
Shepherd’s smile is like a warm ray of sunshine after a cloudy day:-). It’s great that you’re sharing Shepherd’s treatment….very enlightening to those of us who have never had experience with club feet. I am astonished as to the difference in his feet after just one cast!!! Wow! It seems like Shepherd is taking all this pretty much in stride. Way to go!!
I have been reading your blog for some time now and I just wanted to say what a beautiful family you have!!! I have also read your adoption journals of all your kiddo’s for the past couple of years so I feel like I know you all!
Shepherd looks fantastic after his first casts!!!!
Wow — I’m glad to hear things are going so well, but even more glad to see how happy Shepherd is! He is smiling from ear to ear in most of those pictures. Can’t ask for anything more than that! ๐
Hi there! I’ve been a faithful viewer of your blog for a few months now, I LOVE your pictures and updates…I have to say, yours is one of the first I visit each morning. ๐ Glad to hear Sheperd is doing so well-he’s SUCH a cutie.
I can’t imagine how exhausted you must be between packing (YEAH for you, by the way!); traveling back and forth to Iowa; adjusting to a family of 10; and did I mention packing for a family of 10? You look great, though, as does Shepherd. It looks like casting #1 already created a noticable improvement. WOW! I’m praying for safe travels for you all, continued healing for Shepherd and for the patience and energy to get you through the next few weeks. All this, plus the move, cannot be easy to get through without some help from above.
WOW! Amazing results….I am soooo happy that casting can be done vs. surgery…so awesome. Well, he is just as cute as ever. Glad you guys are starting to find a new normal ๐
Look at that improvement already!! I remember the first and second round of casts being the most ‘dramatic’ for us too. So glad the trip is going well and it is SO cool that you have a picture of S with Dr. P!
We are sorry that we will not be here this week when you are here! We will look forward to the Monday to follow! Shepherd is such a sweet boy and is blessed to have such a wonderful family. My kids absolutely adore that little man!
Wow Stefanie! Praise God! Maybe he really won’t need that many more castings! Either way, I am fully confident that those beautiful feet will soon be healed!!!!!!! I LOVE the pic of the darling brothers below! It makes me want to sing praises!!!!!
P.S. When will you be coming thru the Ham again? Even if it’s just a stop at a gas station, I must get a real peek at your newest son!!!!!! Not to mention a hug for you!!!!!!!
Shepherd looks like he is doing so well. What a cutie – pie. Just so happy he is in your arms Stef – what a blessed little boy! (and pretty blessed family, too!)
