Today started out well, Isabelle had OT in the morning with a wonderful, new OT who specializes in sensory issues. Then we headed to Isabelle’s speech therapy and hit McDonald’s in between 🙂
Neither of the girls felt like napping (even though I tried!) so we headed to WalMart for a few essentials. Of course, Isabelle fell asleep on the way home and woke up grumpy! I tried all my usual tricks and nothing seemed to work.
Unfortunately, I think she’s getting another ear infection and the Motrin takes 30-45 minutes to work. Soooo, I pulled out my secret weapon, one I’ve been saving for dire straights. Bubbles.
I bought both of the girls the no-spill kind at Target the other day. It worked like a charm. In fact, both of the girls did wonderfully actually being able to blow a bubble.
Last summer neither of them could get the wand in quite the right spot to produce many bubbles. So, without further ado, here are the girls, blowing away. Notice Isabelle is a bit fussy, but she DOES say two words! Listen out for “all gone” and “bubbles”… isn’t her voice the cutest?
