Tomorrow we head out.
Jude, Victoria, Zach, Poppy and I will leave in the morning, to arrive in Iowa on Wednesday.
Which means that, right now, I’m running around like a crazy person.
Trying to remember what to bring, and what to leave.
Thinking about how terribly I’m going to miss my kiddos.
And, most of all, praying that all goes perfectly in Iowa.
Turns out Jude will need surgery on both feet, which means two thigh to toe casts.
Oh my.
Thankfully, we’ve got the best orthopedic surgeon on the planet set to operate on Jude’s feet.
And some amazing friends, who made Jude’s last trip to Iowa so wonderful he can’t wait to go back. Even if he can’t swim in the hotel pool.

Sweet little boy, cute blue shirt! Praying all goes as planned for Jude on this final visit. It must be hard to figure out who goes, and who stays behind. It’s nice you get to spend time with your older two and that they can help with the drive.
