Picking the tree is just half the battle.
Once you’ve selected the tree, you have to bring it home…
set it up, and then decorate it.
Thankfully, we had 11 helpers that were happy to help with the work.
And, once we added some Christmas carols, a few strings of lights…
and cracked open the Christmas ornaments,
we were all in the Christmas spirit.
Tallula isn’t a big fan of being told “no”.
Thankfully, she bounced back quickly.
And then, as if by magic, we were done.
The trimming of Christmas tree 2012 :: complete.

This looks like so much fun . . . even the sad face picture. It represents the reality of a family trimming the tree. Thanks for sharing. Your photos are so wonderful.

Tallula’s “someone told me not” face is so cute it must be hard not to smile. Although it probably infuriates her to then have her picture snapped whilst she is showing her displeasure. LOVE IT. Wonderful story to see in pictures. It was neat to see great big brother holding Poppy and seeing her smile so big. Just highlights how much she has blossomed and grown since she came home!! all your babies look so happy!! Love seeing Jude standing on his own two feet with seemingly no trouble at all. You have a beautiful, wonderful family!! Merry Christmas!!!
