And we’re OUTTA here!!

Caretaker gifts purchased? Check
New shirts because I’ve worn the same ones for the last 2 China trips? Check
Hair freshly colored? Check
Toenails painted? Check
Laundry done? Check
Quilt squares sent off to be quilted? Check (I know, I’m late, especially considering she’s quilting Jude’s AND Sophie’s OHGW quilt ;))
Many, many notes scribbled down for husband to follow while gone for 2 weeks? Check
Tears shed over missing my babies while I’m away? Check
Bags packed? Almost ๐Ÿ˜‰

It’s finally time! We’re heading out soon, like in 4 hours!! I can’t sleep and that’s a good thing since I had SO much to do!! Things are coming together nicely and hopefully I’ll be able to lay down for a few hours so I am not totally delusional by the time we make it to Detroit for our first layover.
Please keep us in your prayers!! For safety, but most of all for our first few days with Jude. Adoption is a wonderful thing, but it can be awfully hard on a little one.
Signing off from blogger for a while, we’ll be posting updates to Jude’s adoption website ๐Ÿ™‚
