Happy Halloween!

We had a great time! My sister and her family drove down from Atlanta to come trick or treat in our ‘hood. It IS a great area for heavy duty trick or treating… flat, homes close together and lots of families with small children (which means lots of candy for the taking!). This year there was even a ‘haunted house’ which only the big kids braved. We all waited outside and giggled when we heard them screaming πŸ˜‰ It took about a half dozen houses for the girls to get warmed up and soon they were running off without our prompting yelling “trick or treat!”. At first Jude didn’t want to go up to any of the houses (he’s a bit shy ;)) but after I took him up to a few doors, he was saying “treeee” for “trick or treat” and “thank you” after receiving his goodies. He even started saying “bag” because he wanted to be sure he got to put his stuff in his bag. The kid is an absolute crack up. I am nuts over him! After about an hour of fun, we decided to head back due to a few cranky kids (amazingly it was not either of the girls) and one sleeping baby πŸ™‚

What a cute bunch of trick or treaters. I love the costumes. This year I had a princess and a fairy. I just love seeing kids all dressed up for halloween. Christy

I mean, seriously, could there be any cuter kids (well, besides mine) πŸ™‚

Looks like you had a great time! Halloween is all about the kids. Now, if we could only figure out how to get all the sugar to disappear and have no one notice! LOL!

    Have a great week!

    Hey Stefanie!
I wrote you a comment on your last post but I must have messed up…anyway it said something like this: I enjoyed catching up on all your family activities! Congrats to Jude on his re-adoption! Thanks for inspiring me with the daily menus! I used to do this B.A.T.T. (Before Adopting Two Toddlers!) I really need to get back into the habit! I want to try the chili recipe, yummy! Your pumpkin patch pics are adorable and your trick or treat pics are so cute too! I love the pink skeletons! I have a sister in Warm Springs, and a sister that lives in Newnan and my Mom lives in Marietta. I go to Atlanta quite a bit!
    Keep those menus coming!
Even though I don’t comment much, I do keep up with your blog when I can get a moment’s peace!
