If you haven’t already, please consider sponsoring a child through foster care or a child with a medical need this Christmas. There are many other wonderful charities who are in need of sponsors for their children who are in foster care. We sponsor two little boys through New Day Creations, Jesse and Frank. Or if you’d like to make a one time donation, you can donate through OCDF which has many wonderful ongoing projects to help orphans. To help a family trying to bring home a child, you can donate through Grant Me A Chance. My personal favorite it Ethan, I know his momma and he is going to be one blessed little one once he gets home.
It is such a rewarding way to give. For so little you get so much back in return: knowing you made a difference in the life of a child.

Stephanie,
We sponsor a child in foster care through Grace and Hope. We love getting the pictures and updates. I recommend sponsoring to everyone. It is a gift that you can give a child for life.
Keri
We sponsor a little boy and a set of twins through Grace and Hope. I should have put a link to their site on my post, too!
Thanks for reminding me about G & H, Keri! Like you, we love getting updates on the little ones, it’s amazing how they flourish in foster care!!
Great ideas! I’m especially fond of Ethan too!
since Paisley wont be home for Christmas, we are donating through Heifer International for two families in China to have a ‘flock of geese’ gift!
p.s love the tree!
Quan was sponsored through FCC, and oh my I can’t say enough about his development! He is AHEAD of so many three year olds in so many areas, and I know it is because of the great care he received! He was not developmentally behind at all when we took him to be evaluated (except in speech b/c of his palate of course). The dr. was very surprised. SOOOOOOOO, all that to say…thank you to all who sponsor these children! From a mommy who received one sponsored son and a non-sponsored daughter…there really is a difference!

Hi Stefanie,
So glad you posted this. I love reminding people that there are so many wonderful ways to help from home! I’ve got some cool news about my sponsorship reassignment from HTS (she’s from Guilin!) I’ll email you about it soon!
