Mr. Big Time

Just in the last week or so, Jude has really begun to walk… and pretty well! He is now actually wanting to walk between Chris and I. He says, “wa, wa!” and has such a pleased look on his face when he arrives at his destination. Usually, but the time I pull out the video camera, he’s too tired to make it all the way across the room. But today, he surprised me and not only walked to me, he diverted and walked right around the corner, past me. Doin’ a little showing off for the camera, I think ๐Ÿ˜‰
He brings so much joy to our lives. Just seeing him walking is more of a Christmas gift than anything that might even fit under our tree.

All the guesses about the *announcement* a few weeks ago are coming to pass- a handsome new son waiting to join the family, Jude WALKING like a big boy AND Tori with a handsome young suitor, well, okay, not exactly an engagement, but man! I couldn’t help but think of the “meat soaking plot” that the siblings came up with on the movie “Cheaper By The Dozen” when you said that Tori’s boy friend is an only child ! I’m sure that none of your angels would devise such a scheme! ha ha! Merry Christmas to your family! With so much to celebrate, the greatest gift of all has already been given- a Savior!
    Praises,
    Holly

Go Jude! What an amazing little guy! I too am excited to follow YOUR journey back to China for sweet little Shepherd. Isabelle’s journey is the only one I’ve missed…and that’s just because it was before I entered the adoption world. (But I did go back and read it later!) I hung on for every word on Sophie’s journey..I knew I was heading to China about the time you were coming home. And now, here we go again! Maybe things will click together and we’ll actually travel at the same time this time! who knows? Merry Christmas!

I don’t know what I loved the most, seeing Jude go to town or hearing your excited little southern voice giggling with joy and pride! ๐Ÿ™‚ YAY JUDE! What a cute little fella you are!
I love the pics of your daughter and her beau, too. He’s a cutie!
Merry Merry Christmas to you and yours!

P.S. As I tripped over shoes walking in the door tonight, I thought about those baskets of yours in the video!

Way to go Jude!! He looks like he’s been walking all his young life – what a cutie! I still remember Eli’s first steps – even though they were delayed (most likely because of his feet), he was equally as excited about walking. He ran much like Jude does!

Congrats on Shepherd also. What an amazing thing you’ve been called to do. He is an absolute doll and I’ll be following the ‘story’ as I did with Jude.
