Back to our regularly scheduled broadcast

I took these the other day during the kids’ usual late afternoon bathtime. Chris has been coming home late, so it’s best to have them clean and ready to eat dinner when he gets home. Leaves more time for fun, reading and wrestling πŸ™‚ ALL my kiddos love the bathtub, usually I have to pull them all out against their will, pruned fingers and all. Sophie got some new tub toys for her birthday, so the fun quotient is even higher now πŸ™‚ Sophie, at a big 4 years old now, is 39″ and 36 1/2 pounds. That puts her at the 32nd% for height and 62nd% for weight. She’s the only one of our kiddos who has probably dropped a spot or two on the weight chart since she’s been home. Let’s just say, her nanny made sure she had all the goodies she wanted πŸ˜‰ Isabelle, at 3.5, is 37.5″ and 34.5 pounds. She’s at the 23rd% for height and 67th% for weight. Not bad for a scrawny little thing who wasn’t even on the growth charts when she came home πŸ˜‰ Our sweet Jude will be celebrating his 2nd birthday on February 9th. He is growing like crazy (1 1/2 inches in 2 months), but not gaining quite like we’d hoped. He has the most limited palette of any child we’ve had (well, Asher ran a close second) so it’s very hard to put weight on him when his favorites are fruits and vegetables and the only ‘meal’ he will eat (can you even call it that?) is Ramen noodles. So, we’re doing our best and grateful for the 4 pounds he has put on since he came home in June. He’s weighing in at a mighty 25.2 pounds (when they’re this tiny, you’ve gotta count the .2 ;)) and is 32.25″. On the growth chart he’s ‘less than 3rd%’. Does that mean he’s not even on there? Regardless of his stature, he’s got a personality bigger than life. We can’t wait to spoil him on his upcoming birthday… his first birthday at HOME πŸ™‚

They are so so precious! EllaKate LOVES her bath too. She likes for her dad to give her one because he lets her stay longer than I do most of the time. What a great time of the day!!!

Hey Stefanie! I love the pictures…and the image I have in my mind of three little sets of pruned fingers is priceless! Come on LID…Shepherd needs his pruned fingers too! πŸ˜‰

I have two little munchkins that love bathtime as well. Great photos! And it’s always fun to read how ‘big’ other kiddos are! Bella, at 4.5 years old, is 40″ and 30 pounds. Vivi is 4 years old and 36″ and *gulp* 24 pounds….my tiny peanut. My teenager laughs and says that she’ll be sitting in a carseat while taking driver’s ed πŸ˜‰ They both eat everything, haven’t met a food they don’t like; yet they’d rather eat a salad than anything else!

What a gorgeous bunch of bathing beauties! They sound pretty healthy, too. Emma is 18 months and is 33 inches and just finally hit a whopping 20 lbs. She’s a great eater and not picky but has gained almost nothing since July. Hannah is 42 inches and 32lbs. Maybe if they’d stop moving, the’d conserve some of those calories!
