I NEED YOUR HELP!

Calling all graphic artists and digital scrapbookers!!
My sister, who is also my best friend, is almost DTC for a precious little boy with a repaired heart defect from New Day Foster Home near Beijing. YEAHH!! I am so happy for her and her family 🙂 He is soooo cute and I promise to share the story of how he came into their lives someday soon, definitely a God thing!
So here is where you guys come in… she is holding a fundraiser tennis tournament at the end of May called “Play For a New Day” (my other sister came up with that, isn’t it great?) And she is going to have some t-shirts printed up for the event. I need ideas for a t-shirt design! Simple is PERFECT, just the ‘Play For a New Day’ along with maybe a simple tennis racquet or ball? Nothing else. I am NOT a digital scrapbooker and I have NO idea how to work on Photoshop or I’d be hard at work trying to come up with something myself. But I know there are a lot of you guys out there who do amazing work! I’ve seen your blog and your scrapbook pages!!
Here’s the hitch, it needs to be done ASAP! Today, I’m afraid! But if someone is able to come up with something that we use for the t-shrits in time, I will send you this beautiful diaper bag backpack. I purchased it in China, but since I have BOYS, I haven’t used it 😉 It is so lovely! Along with that you will have my indebtedness… I can’t tell you how much seeing this fundraiser be a success means to me!!

Stefanie, I can’t help at all but to tell you that Wendy Camp, whose son came from the same SWI as Shepherd is a fabulous digital scrapbooker!
Do you still have her email addy?
If not, email me and I’ll send it along. Today has been a hectic day and add to that the concern of the earthquake victims in China and my mind has been all over the place.
I posted about it on my blog for my non-China related friends.
Praying for the mercy and healing of God to cover the Sichuan province right now.

    Stefanie,

Since you asked for simple, what if you simply used the slogan either around or under, a heart with tennis ball in the center?

I can think of the ideas but I am digitally challenged when it comes to using the computer to actually “show it”.

It would also be fairly easy to fill the heart (there are tons of photoshop and clipart options) with the texture and line (the wavy “U” of the seam) of a tennis ball therefore eliminating the need to place a ball in the center of the graphic — the message is already implied…

I’ll keep thinking and whatever you come up with for the shirt — I’ll buy one!
    Good luck,
    Amy in Michigan

wish I could help girl. I can draw rainbows and hearts. That is it. oh, and stick people. oh and suns. oh yeah, flowers too. So if you have any interst for a hand drawn rainbow coming out of a sun shining over stick people walking in flowers, holding hearts? then I am your girl. I could scan it. No? You sure? As far as computer scrapbooking, I consider myself fortunate that I know how to open word and enlarge the font. So no help there.

But yeah for your sister!!!!!!! Wish I could be there to cheer her on!

    🙂
