cake pop love

Man oh man, were my girls excited to get their paws on the Hello Kitty cake pops we made at the Pioneer Woman’s house. Even though Colleen and I were cake pop novices, the finished products were still pretty darn cute.

To learn more about cake pops, and to see Bakerella‘s amazing creations, visit her site here. Just keep scrolling down to be blown away by her cake pop-ability, it’s incredible what Bakerella can do with some cake, icing and heaping doses of creativity and patience. Too bad none of those rubbed off on me…

I’m now feeling the need to drive down the road a bit to Charm City Cakes so I can introduce myself to Duff. Just trying to keep up…

cute!! wow, those hello kitty cake pop heads are bigger than i thought they were! seeing them in comparison to the girls was helpful because i thought they were dinky little things….and i’d have to eat about 100 of them just to get started!

I’m with Tish…….I’d have to eat 100 of those (at least)! But, what a BRILLIANT idea- cupcake pops! That’s just awesome! Wish I had thought of it!

I had no idea who the Pioneer Woman was before you introduced me…..now I’m really interested in her cooking tips. I’m just going to have to try to make those cupcake pops! What’d you all use to make them stand up on their own?

oh I wanna go with Tonggu Momma to Charm City Cakes!! I am so intrigued by cake decorating, but I think it just stinks to spend so much time making such a beautiful creation only to have it gobbled up in minutes! Aaaugh!
(This thought process is what keeps me from mopping my floors more often than I do! They’re just going to get dirty again!)
