my nut

Jude descended the stairs this morning in his usual fashion: bleary eyed, calling for mama, clutching his pillow and the toy du jour from the day before.

Sophie spotted him first. She laughed and pointed at him, “Jude looks like a nut!”

“A nut?” I replied, uncertain where this conversation was headed. “You mean, like a crazy person?”

“Noooo, mama!” she laughed. “Like a nut! An acorn kind of nut. With a top!”

Well, now that she said something, I can kinda see it. Sophie’s got more of an imagination than I do I think. You should give her 5 random things and have her tell you what she thinks they are. I bet she’ll come up with something good.

I do have to disagree on one point… there is no FUTURE about his Mr. Right status. He owns the title right now. Just so you know.
