how he does it

You might have noticed, but I’ll go ahead and admit it.

I’m pretty darn crazy about Jude.

And I don’t care who knows it.

Something about that tiny dimple just makes my knees go weak.

And the way his eyes curl up at the sides? Let’s just say I find it challenging to tell him “no”.

Ever.

In my defense, I have been making a concerted effort to keep him from becoming ridiculously spoiled.

By remaining resolute when he fusses.

Unyielding when I’ve set reasonable boundaries.

Insistent when he refuses to expand his eating repertoire beyond potatoes and potato products.

Conservative when driving-thru McDonald’s for french fries. Twice a week, at most.

And dictatorial when buying the Thomas the Train figures. Only the new ones.

It’s going pretty well, I think.

I would probably do the same thing and pretty much do with my little dimple girl too! ๐Ÿ™‚

I have got to say that I have always found him pretty irresistable myself, from the moment I saw you get him in China. Actually, it might have been his exponential cuteness that made me pay attention to his feet, and add his special need to our checklist.
    Thanks for that Jude! ๐Ÿ™‚

I was a potato/potato product child and I survived! Granted my mother made me take liquid B vitamins when I didn't clean my plate.

Jude is just so adorable (as are your other children, too!) It was his story along with Linny and DW's Isaiah that helped open our hearts to adopting a boy from the waiting children's list. Two boys later, Philip and Elijah, and three years later we are so glad we did!

Hugs from our family to yours,
    Janet and gang

Our Faith has that exact same dimple..just the one, on that one same cheek. We always marvel that it's just on the one cheek, and it's so cute!

I think you are doing a great job considering the cuteness factor you face every day! Hang tough!
