new kicks

Our package arrived right on time.

But I didn’t expect it would be warm enough to wear them for a while.

A long while.

I was wrong. It was 64 degrees yesterday.

And my girls were so stinkin’ excited, I couldn’t resist them.

Or the incessant begging.

So, with socks underneath (because 1. I’m a dork and 2. It is just March), the new shoes made their appearance.

And, as typical at our house, these new kicks had to be put through their paces.

We insist that the kids test out a new pair of shoes first to ensure that they’re keepers.

Because if they don’t make you jump higher

… and run faster

then they’re pretty much worthless.

Plus, it’s ridiculously cute, not to mention incredibly entertaining, to watch them get after it.

Clearly, these new shoes are winners.

Oh. And my girls absolutely love them, too.

Thanks for sharing the site where you got the polliwalks! My boys, nieces and nephew will all be receiving new polliwalks from the Easter Bunny, or me depending on how much credit I feel I need that day!

Well, if you ask ME, the socks seriously make the outfit. Then again, I'm not allowed to buy clothes without first listening to advice.

(Oh, and the Tongginator has one of those dresses. She outgrew it this winter and cried about it.)

Oh, great. You just HAD to share where you got the shoes for your ever so sweet girls, right? Thanks. I just had to order me up 3 pairs now! One for each of my 4 year old girlies and a pair for my 4 year old grandgirly! We can't wait till they come – seriously, thanks!
