9 times out of 10, I take pictures of just one of my kids at a time.
Because it’s so. much. easier. to capture just one face.
But on this day, it was like a lightening strike.
I had no idea it was going to happen,
where it came from,
or when it might happen again.
I just understood the weight of the occurrence.
Looking in the same general direction.
Just having fun. And looking ridiculously adorable.
Of course, I had no idea this good fortune was coming my way. Or I’d have chosen a different venue, to be sure.
One without a Pepsi machine in the background.
But this mama will take what she can get.
And blow it up and frame it.
Now that’s my kind of storm! Love it when lighting strikes! Oh … they are all beautiful!
Love it! Quite a feat!!! They all look adorable.
These make me smile so much. I don’t even know these kids in real life (only blog world) but I want to give hugs to them all!
wow! that’s great…I only have 4 and can’t get them to all look in the same direction and smile….
So beautiful! Glad that lightning struck so that you could capture it!-Sarah
So glad you had the wherewithal to grab the lens and shoot. Think I would have frozen inshock, or worse, celebrated prematurely with a little choco, and gotten my sticky fingers all over the lens and in the way of the money shot. You done good.
cute!

They are awesome pictures for sure!
And I like Pepsi, so overall, these pictures make me feel warm and fuzzy and happy all over. I mean, really, what is better that that many adorable children – happy AND Pepsi!
Love it! I am in awe. I can barely get my two looking in the same direction. I particularly love the nibbling on the arm shots–that is a brother! Congrats on capturing the moment, Mama!
VERY VERY nice….I can’t get my 3 to look my way and smile….jealous!!!!!
Honestly, those are some great shots of your beautiful crew & the background is not what anyone is looking at! Of course, there’s always Photoshop to clean that up if it bothers you too much:D Good job capturing not ONE but several great pictures of your 7!
That is a wonderful picture of the gang … and I was amused by the Pepsi machine in the background, too. Also, I noticed the new sidebar of the kiddos and just wanted to say what a nice tribute to Esther you’ve added.
God bless!
Thank you, Chrissie ๐
Those are awesome pictures. Pepsi machine or not, those are definitely ones to frame!
SOOOOO Cute!! Just blur that background in PS and you will be good to frame. :))))
Lightning surely DID strike!!! LOL. I didn’t even notice the Pepsi machine until you mentioned it. Was looking at all those sweet smiling faces!!! Beautiful pics Stefanie. ๐
Love it! It is difficult enough to get my 3 to look at the camera at the same time…I’m totally impressed!
Sooo precious! Love the picture, Pepsi machine and all:)!
Love it, love it, love it!!!!!
Love, love, love it! Melts my heart! Thanks for sharing:)
Beautiful……even with the background….makes it all the more fun and memorable!!
Not in 51 years of life and 26+ of parenthood have I been able to accomplish that – WAY TO GO!! And as for the Pepsi machine – hey – there’s always lightroom! ๐
As for your numbers post – I remember the celebrations we’d have when we finally got our adopted kids ‘on the charts’ – I’ll take all those numbers!
hugs – aus and co.
I am seriously impressed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So cute! Congratulations!
Hugs,
Diana
Would have never noticed the Pepsi machine if you hadn’t mentioned it ๐ Too much cuteness to think about the back ground!
You are speaking the truth when you say that all the children in that photo are ridiculously good looking. Even strangers in blogging land think so! ๐
you could easily knock the background down in value and saturation while still keeping your kids in good light with the help of Photoshop/Lightroom/Aperture or any other digital photo adjustment program.
Put a little dark border vignette in PS around it and that Pepsi machine? History.
INCREDIBLE photo!
I have a hard time with just getting 3 to look in the same general direction and smile!
Lightening strike indeed. A treasure for sure!
I thought for SURE the Pepsi machine was at your house! You don’t have one!?
SUCH an adorable picture of 7 of your babies!
ADORABLE! and i was thinking that the pepsi machine was the “drink cooler/refrige” in your house – i was about to say GENIOUS! so the kids werent’ constantly going in and out of the big fridge.. hehee and of course the cool pool table in the kitchen.. just a hip mom.. :O) as we all know you are :OP
Great pictures! Your kids are adorable!
WOW! Amazing. And so precious!
