if a picture…

is worth a thousand words,

then three pictures are worth three thousand words.

And after getting these new pictures of Poppy, every one of those words is telling me,

we need to get our girl home.

Today marks 2 weeks since we received our Article 5.

So TA could arrive any day now.

Once TA arrives, we should travel in 2-4 weeks.

Good golly. I hope the seams on my jeans can hold out that long.

Awwwww, hang on little Poppy. Momma’s coming as quickly as she can.

Praying for you all to hang in there and lean on His timing and His provision for the wrap up of this process. May He supernaturally move the paperwork part of it along beyond our understanding and in the meantime, may He also blanket her heart and yours with His peace and His comfort. Even now, Lord, prepare Poppy’s little heart for the changes ahead and for the joy of living in a family so full of love to give!

I know your heart aches to see her look sad while the other two girls look happy. But you know better than most that a little lovin’ and holdin’ and lots of big brothers and sisters will have her shining like a jewel in no time.
