dreaming of Poppy

I’m finding myself dreaming of Poppy more and more,

as we inch ever-so-slowly to bringing her home.

Wondering about her little personality.

What she really looks like.

What she sounds like.

What makes her sad.

And what makes her smile.

And dreaming of the time I feel the weight of her in my arms, at last.

Please, oh please… TA come this week.

Oh! Waiting for the weight. I so get it. I think the best part of the wait was finally laying eyes (& hands) on Mya. FEELING her little arms and legs. Pushing her hair back behind her ear. Whispering how much i loved her as she lay sleeping on the floor, because she was too scared to sleep in the bed. Oh, it was so, so good. And so, so worth it.

Praying for a mighty TA this week!

I catch myself going onto your blog and looking back at pictures of Poppy (especially the three pictures of her crying… those brought me to tears). (And to be honest, I find myself re-reading your China travel stories often. As well as checking for an update daily).

I’m praying for you and Poppy, and for your TA to come soon!

Are you allowed to give out the name of Poppy’s orphanage? (Sorry… I don’t really know the do’s and don’ts for adopting.) I believe it’s in the same city as my hometown, and I really want to go there and potentially volunteer during my first China trip next summer (Sad that it is not sooner :< I was honestly pushing for sometime this year, because I wanted to meet you and just try not to be a creep. :))

    Prayers for your TA~!

This makes even me want to give her a big hug so I can feel the weight of her in my arms. What a sweet post. She’s already ‘so loved’. Can’t wait till she’s the subject of your Sunday Snapshot!

Okay, you are just plain making me cry…for you and for me (we are waiting too but 4-6 months out yet)…tears of joy, because the time is coming…tears of want, wanting so badly to hold her. Can’t wait till you do. Can’t wait till we do. God is just so good to us isn’t He? I feel like I know you even though we have never met– from following this blog. There is so much joy in this journey. Praying for you all.

I have often wondered if that wait gets easier with each adoption. Sounds like it doesn’t. Praying your TA arrives soon.

My arms are hurting to hold our tiny baby girl on the other side of the world also.
The day will come when we sit and stare at their round faces glowing with love
and get lost in the sound of sweet laughter floating across the lawn. All I can do
is hold onto her photo and trace the curves of her face with my eyes.

She is growing in my heart as my prayers encircle her. God has placed His hand
over her, protecting her from any harm. I am praying for your good news to come soon.
Your journey has been long and painful. Like the song, “Joy will come in the morning”
You too will greet the day with a new sparkle in your eyes as you look down into her
    sweet eyes. Blessings-Joy

Praying your TA comes this week! Please pray our LOA comes this week! The wait is so hard and the closer we get the harder the wait. I know your wait has been especially long, but it is almost over…praise God! I am anxious to see pictures of your sweet Poppy in your arms.
