cupcake bear

Yesterday we made our way to the mall.

To return some stuff.

Maybe check out some after Christmas sales.

Build-A-Bear was most definitely not on my list of stores to visit.

But we were waiting, and waiting for the boys to get out of Hollister.

And Build-A-Bear was just a few stores down.

So the girls and I made a quick trip over.

Just to look.

As soon as we set foot in the store, she saw it.

And her face lit up like nobody’s business.

Cupcake Bear.

Covered in sparkles and confetti.

And holding a cupcake in his hand.

It was the best $20 I’ve spent this Christmas.

And Cupcake Bear smells nicely….like cupcakes too, right?!! I love Build A Bear….the girl who opened the first store (and all subsequent stores) lives nearby where I live. (Well not too nearby cause she lives in a much better school district)

Hayley loves Build a Build. We have like 5 animals plus clothes. I should have stock in that store. The fun the girls have in that store.

We did the build a bear on Jolie’s bday…don’t ya just wish you came up with that whole build a bear idea? Man, we’d all be rich if we would have thought it up and put it to action first! LOL

Oh that lil cupcake bear and the darling cupcake holding him are adorable. I could not have said no. HOW CUTE!!!!!!

I loathe the lighting in build a bear….I have taken so many shots and they are all hideous due to all that yellow.

Happy New Year to you and you family!!!!

This made me cry. It caught me off guard, but seeing Poppy, how far she has come and how loved she is took my breath away. To get to have a special moment like this isn’t something that every kid gets to enjoy. It just made me happy.

LOVE that child …. so adorable!

Stefanie, I know you have lots of readers, so could you please help advocate for this child??!!

There is a 14 year old boy who is about to “age out” in China. He is in need of a family ….FAST!! I mean, like SUPER fast. He needs a family who is paper ready, and traveling soon. Time is that critical.
He is healthy, handsome, and about to be all on his own.
The thought of that just makes me sick.

This is going to take a miracle. BIG. TIME. I believe it is possible. Please join me in prayer for this child.

You can read more about him here:

    THANK YOU!!!
