hurry, mr. postman.

It was a red-letter day for someone.

Someone who has wanted to be “the one” to go to China with his mama for as long as he can remember.

Someone who has become responsible, helpful and mature enough for this mama to actually want him to come along.

And someone who, if his passport arrives in time, will finally get to go to China. And bring home his baby sister.

I’m hoping that when they say 2 -3 weeks, what they really mean is 2 weeks.

I just can’t imagine disappointing this boy.

Do you know when you are going? Exciting! Our kids passports came very quickly…even less than two weeks from when we applied and we did not ask for speed at all. (Only the oldest will travel with us, but we got passports for all 3 just in case…)

Contact your senator or representative. They can help with this. We once had to get our girls’ passports in a hurry, and we were treated with such kindness when we called to get help on this!

BTDT except it was for 3 of our children. BTW, did you choose expedite? We ponied up b/c we honestly just let the time go by and failed miserably at getting those ordered in time. And they came in ONE WEEK but that was with the expedite. I think you’ll be fine!!! So excited you are so close and still SHOCKED you kept such a big secret (from your blog) so long! Sneaky you are! 😉

It’ll make it easy – God’s cool like that!

Dalton – buckle up – you are in for the trip of a lifetime!

And your middle name is a “family” name in our clan – carried by many as a first or middle name – and fine men all!

    hugs – aus and co.
