no news…

is not, in this instance, good news.

By now we had hoped to have our TA.

Our agency had expected to have our TA.

But we don’t have our TA.

*wah*

Still holding out hope that we might be able to keep that departure date of March 23, but trusting God’s plans above all.

And, after prayerful consideration, we have decided who will be going to China with Dalton for Tallula.

Me.

If you think of it, please lift our little ones up in prayer.

For Tallula’s heart. That she would somehow be even a tiny bit prepared for all the crazy changes ahead. And that I would be able to comfort her in her grief.

For Poppy’s heart. That she would somehow know, deep in her heart, that momma will be back. And that Chris would be able to be baba and mama to our sweet girl for 2 weeks.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
~ Proverbs 3:5-6

So glad you were able to make your decision, can’t imagine how hard it was to make:\……
I am with you in the pain of no TA….our art 5 p/u was 2.14 and I am just SO SAD….I wan tour children so badly.
Curious your timeframe….has your agency gotten anything out of CC*WA? Ours has tried(?) not sure just how much, and with no response for over a week now?! I know it will come in His perfect timing….just must lay down my hopes for His wonderful plan!!
Blessing to you and your heart as you wait and for your family as you separate….not looking forward to that day….just when we are HOME and all together again!!:)

Praying for you, Chris, Poppy, Tallula and all of the other littles. You can do this. Poppy can do this. Chris can do this. “I can’t, but God can, and He will if I let Him” Quoted from Paster Mike Boyd, Wallace Memorial Baptist Church.

Stefanie – I will be praying for all of you. I am finding it so wonderful that God is speaking to me through this Bible Passage. It seems everywhere I turn it is being put in my face. I think that God is telling me to stop worrying and let him lead me. Thank you!

Will be praying for the TA to arrive. That Chris would have the strength and energy that he needs while you are gone. For you and Dalton as you travel. For both Poppy and Tallula. That our awesome Father will be what they need. And for all of those other unspoken requests, that He would be your comfort, strength, and provision.

Excited to watch your journey as you come to our side of the world.

I hope things work out soon for you guys so you can go bring your sweetie home.

And you made the best decision. Like you said, you are the mom. Dads are equally important, of course, but I too believe that some things should be made by moms.

And Poppy will be in her home, with her daddy and the rest of her family and I am sure she will understand that you will be back. I am also sure your hubby will do a fantastic job being both the dad and the mom. ๐Ÿ™‚

I will pray for your girls too! โœฟ

Morning – I’m getting the vibe that everything is in order and that what we have here is simply a “failure to communicate”! We’ll see….

I’m confident about Chris and Poppy too – Poppy will understand on an “intrinsic level” – and Chris is up for what ever a Dad needs to do…

And Tallula – she’ll have her moments I’m sure – but she’ll be cool with it – she’s like her mom that way!!

Regardless – and as always – y’all will be in our hearts and prayers!

    hugs – aus and co.

I just had to write today and say thank you for the way your blog, as well as the “No Hands But Ours” site has touched my life. It’s a long story, but when you were advocating for that sweet boy Gus a while back, the Lord used it to kickstart our family into gear and we were recently matched with a beautiful little girl in China (a Special Focus child). We just got PA today and we are so excited about all that God has done! She is our third child, we have two little boys adopted from South Korea. Thank you for sharing your heart and advocating for children who need families. I would love to be involved with No Hands But Ours in the future (our younger son and daughter waiting in China both have bilateral Microtia). I am praying for you as you wait to bring home your sweet girl!

Lots of prayer for y’all!! I just know that Poppy will make it through these two weeks. They will fly by and it will be good for her to see that Mama ALWAYS comes back!! I think your going to China for Tallula is absolutely the right thing.

“Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid…” John 14:27. This was my grandmother’s favorite verse. It carried her through many many times of worry. I know y’all have laid the foundation for Poppy that will carry her through this, and you will lay that same foundation for sweet Tallula!!!

God bless and so much love and prayer to you all!!!
