Sunday Snapshot: {our baby}

Sweet Poppy.

She is 2 1/2.

And in many ways, still such a baby.

She loves to snuggle with her bear.

She loves to be carried by mama and baba.

And she really, really likes to get her own way.

Even if tears are required.

But our girl isn’t all baby.

She loves to pick her own clothes.

She is the most enthusiastic helper in the entire house.

And she loves to tattle on her brothers and sisters.

In just a few weeks, Tallula will join our family.

And Poppy will be a big sister.

Although we talk about her little sister all the time, the reality of Tallula is likely to be different from the idea of Tallula.

Or “Lula” – as Poppy calls her.

Honestly, I’m not quite sure that Poppy has any idea what is headed her way.

But even if Poppy isn’t technically be the baby of the family any longer, she’ll always be our baby.

For just as long as she wants.

That was one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL photo stories I have ever seen/read! Absolutely precious from beginning to end. God has blessed you with a grace-filled heart, an incredible eye, and a love that is deep and rich and wide and drawn right from the Source. Grace. Simply…all…grace.

    Oh sweet sweet girl!

It’ll be a shocker but she’ll do just fine!!

Oh my do we have tattling too!! It should be in an olympic sport- we’d get the gold!

We like to refer to them as informants! Not tattlers!

Blessings to you on your next journey!!

Her beauty takes my breath away! How incredible to see how far she has come in just 7 months! I can’t wait to watch Tallula’s journey! I kinda think that the being a good helper and the tattling are something she brought home from China. All my China babies are beyond good helpers, they also LOVE to tattle! ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s a China thing!

Poppy is *such* a beautiful little girl. I know that’s trivial in the scheme of things, but it strikes me every time I see pictures of her. It will be interesting to see how she reacts when her spot as baby is usurped by Tallula. Tallula looks like she comes with a turbo-charged personality ๐Ÿ™‚ Life at your house will get even livelier!!! I don’t know how you do it – four tire me out. I can’t even imagine the mornings when they all want to take a cold lunch… And the homework. Uff.

    Congrats on your upcoming addition!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aww! She’s just so sweet and can’t wait to see “Lula” added to the bunch!

Our littlest one is 2 and by the time we add everyone we’re adding this next round she’ll be 2.5 and my, oh my, does that girl have a strong personality. She’ll be fine but the adjustment will be hard at first.
