headed for home…

We leave in just a few hours.

All packed up and ready to go. Next stop Hong Kong, and then on Wednesday night, at 6:30 PM, we’ll be home.

Just had to get one last picture of Dalton, enjoying one of his favorite things about Shamian Island.

And here was his big brother 2 1/2 years ago, doing the same thing.

In the same place.

At the same age.

Gonna squeeze the dickens out of all my babies when I get home.

Would y’all keep us in your prayers, please? We have a very long travel day ahead of us – if one can call a 40+ hours a ‘day’ – and we would be so grateful.

And thank you to everyone who lifted us up on our way here… we certainly felt covered in every way.

Counting the hours to home!

I love your blog! I’m cracking up how Tallula isn’t crazy about getting her pic taken…my daughter is the same way. If she is anything like my daughter she is also going to try and run your entire household. I know she will be such a joy as all your kids are…you and your husband are awesome! I will be praying for your trip! Thanks for sharing.

May the road rise up to meet you…may the wind be at your back…and until you are safely home again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand!!

    Which we know He does!!

Safe Travels to you and your little ones.

    God Bless!!

The boys look like twins. My goodness.
I bet you can’t wait to hug all your kids back home. They must be aching for Momma too, especially those littler ones.
I can’t wait to hear, and see everyone’s reactions, especially Poppy, and Vivi, the two babies.

Wow, your boys look like twins!! I thought they were both Dalton. I’ll be praying for your trip together tomorrow. I grew up in China (Xiamen) and vividly remember those incredibly long “days”!! Hang in there, you are almost home with family… and the good ‘ol USA.

Have so loved following your trip to Tallula! She is absolutely precious and now part of a forever family. What a miracle! Thank you for posting the gorgeous pics of you all. You must be so exhausted.

What neat memories for your family! ๐Ÿ™‚ 40 hours is definitely not “a day.” Praying each moment goes quickly when it needs to and is savored when possible. ๐Ÿ™‚

I had to double check those photos … at first glance I would have sworn they were both of Dalton. Such handsome “twins”! Love that you recreated that shot 2 1/2 years later.
Praying for safe travels home. Cannot wait to see and read about the homecoming!
    Love & Blessings,

P.S. We were never brave enough to eat ice cream in all our Ch*na travels! Looks delicious tho!
