tallula. one month and two days.

One month ago and two days ago (this is becoming a theme, isn’t it? not at all on purpose, I guess I’m just always a few days late? and if one day late is a dollar short, what is two days?), Tallula joined our family.

And what a month and two days it’s been.

I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop, but it hasn’t.

At least not yet.

This kid is ridiculously easy-going.

And fun.

And feisty.

I wasn’t able to upload any videos in China, so I’m going back and adding a few to the blog.

And if you’d like to watch our first moments together, you can see the Tallula Day video here.

Don’t know what the next month with our littlest wildcat will be like, but I sure can’t wait to find out.

I like the theme of these post, even if it’s unintended. Just sayin’
I hope the other shoe never drops.

Look at your sweet baby girl!!!

I know you are waiting, but I really don’t think that shoe is ever gonna drop….. she is just a happy go lucky, go with the flow beautiful little girl.

Oh that video…. I loved watching her chase the ball around the room. Even on that first day, she took it all in stride.

Happy Mother’s Day Stef…… I hope you enjoy your special day~

    xoxo,

    Lisa

You know Stefanie- I love how she just sank right in & seems to be adjusting so quickly. She just lights up every shot & that personality is infectious

    Hi Stephanie,

Even though you don’t know me, I’ve been following your blog since last fall and have been stirred to adopt a special needs orphan largely due to your blog! Thank you for advocating for these precious children.

I’ve recently been made aware of precious little girl in China who needs a life saving liver transplant in the next 10 months in order to live. She also desperately needs a family! A blog has been developed for her and I wondered if you’d be willing to look at it and pray about posting it on your blog, as I know you have the ability to reach many, many people! The address is http://www.hopeforalea.com.

Thank you for your time Stephanie, and congratulations on your sweet little Tallula!

What a cutie-patootie! Looks like she’s settling right in. How’s Poppy adjusting? Your kiddos are all just ridiculously adorable. 🙂

She is SO sweet! I am jealous (in a good way!) We’ve only been to China once, and would love to go back. Maybe someday.
