please pray

*update here and here*

…for this family.

Christine and Sol are in Ghana to adopt 4 children. They took along Ethan and Isaac, their 7 and 4 year old boys.

But their adoption trip has turned into a nightmare. The couple has been accused of child trafficking and have been thrown into prison. And their two sons have been put in the orphanage where their four soon-to-be-adopted children remain.

You can read more details here and here.

Please pray for this family. I cannot fathom the horror they must be enduring, imprisoned and separated from their children.

“Again, here is what I tell you. Suppose two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for. My Father in heaven will do it for you. Where two or three people meet together in my name, I am there with them.”

~ Matthew 18:19-20

I am so happy to hear that they out of jail and reunited with their children. However, do I share what I really think??? My hope is that these two are well schooled in attachment therapy and the special needs of adopting children from hard places. I hope they are aware and ready for adopting older children from a hard place. I pray that they know raising adopted children is nothing like raising biological children. They are going to need much prayer surrounding them for the next several years. I really hope the best for them and their children.

Have there been any updates on Sol & Christine? There seemed to be a 24 hour flurry of posts & comments on multiple sites but then nothing since…
