found shirts – counting down

After hitting a teeny tiny snag in production, the Found shirts will be ready for pick up this afternoon.

My sweet husband is taking the day off work tomorrow so he can drive to A-town to pick them up, to avoid the shipping time and cost. I was planning to go, but my wise printer pointed out that this order is BIG. Enough to fill 16 – 17 boxes. In his words, “Way too much for any car or SUV.” Not sure what I was thinking, but so glad he mentioned it, there’s no way I’d be able to bring it all back home with kids in tow. So Chris is going to drive the Sprinter with all the seats pulled out. If it can carry a 2000 pound round bale of hay, I’m pretty confident it can carry 17 boxes of t-shirts.

Makes me smile so big to think about. Almost 1300 shirts heading our way.

It makes my tummy turn a little, too. That’s 1300 shirts that need make it into 520 packages. And not just any shirts… the right sizes, the right designs and the right addresses. And pronto.

But we’re as ready as we’ll ever be.

The kids have been working almost every day to add to their little contribution to this effort – to bring their baby sister home.

Just a few more cards to go and they’ll have made one to go into each and every package.

That makes me smile big, too.

God is using every bit of this to teach them how they, just like sweet Clementine, are so very loved, prayed for and treasured – now, but even before they shared our last name. By us, and even more, by Him.

What a magnificent God we serve.

ready

1300 shirts? Bring it on.

We are ready.

P.S. We will begin packing the shirts up as soon as we get them in our hot little hands – starting at the top of the list (the earliest orders) and moving down. I will keep y’all posted here on the blog with shipping updates, but at this point you can expect to get your shirts in the next week or two!

I received the shirt and the art from Isabelle with the thumbs up. It’s so cute and it’s on our fireplace!

    Thank you so much!
