Jude doesn’t like to be cornered. So I knew my efforts to capture him for this Sunday Snapshot post would have to be cunning.
Fast.
And in his own element.
So I took him to the playroom.
And he was happy.
Jude came home at 19 months, in the summer of 2007. It took he and I about three weeks to ‘bond’ and that was it.
We were mother and son.
I positively, absolutely and completely adore him.
Jude is bright. He is able to learn new things without any effort, either on my part or his. I’ve never intentionally ‘taught’ him anything, yet he knows his numbers, colors and anything else he sets his mind to.
Like the name of every cast member on Thomas the Train.
He is oh-so-charming. I am a mama that has been around the block a couple o’ times, and I still cannot seem to resist him. And I am afraid this has led to Jude becoming a bit, well… there’s no nice word for it… spoiled.
But in a very, very cute way.
He still refuses to eat most foods, preferring to exist on a diet of yogurt, Pringles, grapes and french fries. Oh, and peas.
No meat, no cheese, no milk.
Clearly, these things are not essential to the making of a healthy, happy, adorable boy.
He absolutely can not wait to bring his little sister home. Since Vivi has corrected clubfoot, and wears boots at night just like Jude, I talk with Jude about Vivi when I get him ready for bed.
This has taken on a life of it’s own. Now he brings up Vivi all. the. time.
“I’m going to share my apple juice with Vivi.”
“I want Vivi to sleep in my room.”
“Mom, when are we going to get Vivi?”
I think he’s going to make a wonderful big brother.
That is, when he’s not driving Vivi crazy.
Come to think of it, he drives us all crazy.
But in a very, very charming way.

I tried the Sunday snapshot today! For some reason my pictures look really blurry on the main page until you click on them and they enlarge in a new window, then they look great.??? still working out mac kinks, any ideas??

Jude is just exceptionally adorable…but then, I just KNOW you'll agree.

Jude is so adorable!!! He is looking very grown up these days too! Gosh, it goes sooooooo FAST, doesn't it??
Jude's smile is so cute. I don't think I could resist either. He would be soooo spoiled if he were a part of our gang. Pringles, huh? Wanna go in together and buy them in bulk??? Bailey eats them daily…every day. She takes them to school….for breakfast! LOL That's right! Prime "MOM OF THE YEAR" material typin' this post.
Jude is impossibly adorable, even though he doesn't eat anything!! And he sure can smile for the camera! Still loving the Sunday Snapshot (I am a FULL cycle through now.Sigh) Whatever am I going to say about the first child the second round? lol!!
I have blurry picture issues too (unless I go through flickr) In fact, my header picture is blurry and I hate it…so, if it is a mac thing, I'd like to know. If it is something *I* am doing – well, then, I am not surprised!!
