Bwaaahahhaaahahaaa! Sorry…this has the most incredible timing! I just pulled my 6 yr olds 2nd front tooth a few minutes ago! I’d better remember to pay the little man! I’m still chuckling at your post….what strange timing!
We caught the tooth fairy by surprise…totally unsuspecting and therefore unprepared while out of town this weekend! Walking across a university campus on the way to a football game, my girl popped her molar right on out! I tried to convince her that the tooth fairy doesn’t visit hotels, that she wouldn’t be able to find us because we were crisscrossing time zones that day, etc. Nothing worked. Had to bum appropriate tooth fairy coinage from my childless, totally confused brother. Fortunately she didn’t notice the lack of fairy dust when she woke up on Sunday morning! Love that toothless look your darling is sporting!
I can’t get Isabella to loose a tooth. I read an article quite some time ago from our local newspaper about teeth and how practically every girl loses her first tooth by the time they are 5 years old, or during their 5th year (before they turn 6). And that most boys will still have all their baby teeth when they turn six and will lose their first tooth sometime after turning six…….Well, Isabella is practically 6 and a half and only very recently lost her first tooth and has a still loose (for over 6 months) tooth.
Love those tooth fairy visits! The more kids you have, the more regularly she visits! (:
Hey, about your van, what kind is it? (old post, I read your comment, but still wanted to know make/model. thanks)
