Monday morning.

After getting up at 5:30, this is what Asher – and his trusty homeschooling sidekick, Seamus – looked like 2 hours later.

Good thing he has a teacher that can appreciate the value of a nap.

that’s how jolie looks in the morning…she is NOT a morning person. Today, I thought she was in a foul mood until about lunch time she returned to herself. I just don’t think she had her ‘nap’ out when we all got up this morning for school. lol
ha! I wouldn’t have had the heart to wake him either.
i think it’s a great thing for a kiddo to be able to listen to his body. I’ll bet he absorbs more info after he lets his mind shut down for a bit. Plus…there is no way anybody could resist a cuddle and snooze with their best canine companion!!
Looks like the homeschooling is going well!!!
Okay, that’s just precious!
Ooohhhh! I love this! Brought a big smile to my face! Thanks for sharing these little moments with us!
I’m so impressed he got up at 5:30…I think that definitely calls for a nap 2 hours later.
And napping with a dog is so much better than napping alone. Seamus is a cutie.
Don’t ya love the benefits of homeschooling? Especially when your little ones wake up a wee bit early. Caleb has been known to wake up at 5:30 and then need a morning nap, right in the middle of schooling. And well, this is exactly what his sister did this morning!
Oh boy! Now that’s CUTE!
when my boys were younger we would start school at 630 am, be done by 10 and the rest of the day was all about play and long naps. now everyone sleeps until 7 or 730. i do miss the old days…sometimes.
