We hope you feel better soon. Our mom told us that you are in the hospital for a long time. And that you will have many surgeries to fix your back. So we made these cards for you. The something special I mentioned earlier? A two-year anniversary. The someone special? Miss Vivi Cakes. Two years ago, Asher and I were in China to bring Vivienne home. Somewhere between gotcha day and the red couch.
As I have shared, and shared, Poppy is doing marvelously. She has even made the leap from sleeping in mom and dad’s bed to her very own toddler bed. Placed within arm’s reach of me, but in her own bed nonetheless. And, since we made the big switch a few weeks ago, she’s been just fine with it. Which, to… Read More
Adoption is such a journey. Twists and turns. Highs and lows. Joy and sorrow. Sometimes both in one day. And sometimes both in one hour. Our precious, beautiful Poppy is doing so well. Which probably isn’t a word, but it should be. The heat was unbelievable. And the porch at the Starbucks was a most welcomed relief…. Read More
Sweet Poppy is ours. The adoption was made final today, and this precious little one is ours forever. Y’all, she is just so very scared. So please forgive the lack of pictures, but honestly, she spent the vast majority of the day on my hip or on my lap. Otherwise, she was reduced to tears. And well, that just breaks… Read More
Poppy is here. And positively precious. Much to share. Many pictures to upload. But the connection is excruciatingly a bit slow… and no one wants to sit around the room waiting for the pictures to upload. It’s dinner time. I did want to share at least one picture, though. And let y’all know all went really, really well. Poppy was… Read More
