Sunday Snapshot: {two years}

The something special I mentioned earlier?

A two-year anniversary.

The someone special?

Miss Vivi Cakes.

Two years ago, Asher and I were in China to bring Vivienne home.

Somewhere between gotcha day and the red couch.

We expected that we’d fall in love with Vivi.

And that we’d teach her things. About life.

We never expected how very much she would teach us.

About determination. About spunk. About joy.

And how each of those things can add up to equal one extraordinary little girl.

Who, despite her physical limitations, is going to have the world wrapped around her little finger.

Because she certainly has us wrapped around her little finger.

Happy Two Years being our little girl, Vivienne Kate.

We could not love you any more.

    I was just thinking about this on her gotcha day. My cousin’s birthday is the same day, although he’s a lot older.

    Vivi is so cute!! My daughter just loves Vivi. Hayley favorite video is when ya’ll were in China. Where Vivi was trying to put on her socks on. She wants to watch it over and over. Hayley wants to know if ViVi has a Build a Bear? Since Poppy got one And she did not see that Vivi got one. Question from a 5 year old. Got to love them.
