Fun (or not so fun) in the sun

We set the sprinkler up in the yard the other day thinking it would be a sure fire hit with the girls. Well, it wasn’t. At first. The boys loved it from the get go and the girls warmed up to it after a while. Even while they were unimpressed with the sprinkler, they sure looked cute in their swimsuits. They both love bathtime, but hate having water on thier faces. The same held true for the sprinker, they loved getting wet, but hated when the water hit them in the face. Isabelle, ever the daredevil, finally decided to just brave it and immersed herself completely. Sophie never did, she’s the more reserved of the two … believe it or not! Sophie is definitely the ‘rule maker’ and she is MUCH more vocal, but Isabelle is the wild thang, the one who runs off fearlessly in an unknowing bliss. I think God knew what He was doing when He led us to Sophie, we definitely are grateful for her help in the ‘watching out for mei mei’ department. Plus, she’s just so darn adorable and full of joy … and who doesn’t need that?!

My gosh Stefanie… these pictures are truly priceless. Who takes most of them? What incredible moments captured in still life! The girls are absolutely precious…
