now you know

TAs are rolling in. For people on very similar timelines as ours for Vivi.

And some families who just got TA are leaving before Christmas. Before. Christmas.

Just typing that makes my stomach churn and roil. It does even less-ladylike things to my armpits.

My agency contact is currently in China, assisting some families as they bring home their newest little ones. So I can’t call her.

I tried to call my agency. Evidently they’re in a meeting.

So here I sit.

25,851 things to do and here I sit.

Oh, and check in on RQ every 5 minutes.

I figured I’d take a *break* from wringing my hands and refreshing on my inbox to update you guys.

Now you’re in the know.

Oh, I remember doing the same thing…nothing because I needed to KNOW when! It is sooo hard to wait, but so worth it!

Only every five minutes? 🙂 Before Christmas might just be wonderful! Think of how organized you have been with your shopping and all. Oh, I just SO EXCITED for you!!!!

oh my gosh….sending hugs!! I would be utterly useless. We traveled last year on Dec. 30th–got our TA around this time. It was very cool spending New Years Eve on a plane to China. 🙂

Oh Stefanie!! I have been praying that your TA would come this week! Please, Lord, please!

You sweet thing…even in your stressful, sweaty-pit moments you've got your charm and wit in tact. Love it.

    HOLY c-o-w.

You wait so long and get used to being in limbo for so.long – what will it FEEL like to have Vivi home?? What it feel like to board that plane to China again??

What it feel like to not wake up to Christmas morning in your own house surrounded by your littles?

God will carry you home & bring you home on angle's wings – with your youngest daughter – it will be nothing short of a miracle! God is good!!!

    waiting for an update……..

Can't wait to read those two letters from you…TA! Keep the faith it has to be so very soon!

I know it is tough to be so close now to your precious Vivi, you've been so inspirational to us and we've loved the gift lists! Thanks!

Enjoy the journey and the season!

I dreamed referrals would come on December 17. That was 2 nights ago. Oh that your TA would come on December 17th!!! Know my stomach churns with you! It will be a happy day for me (a total stranger) to see your Guangxi girl at home with your family where she belongs.

    Lots of love!

Stefanie, I am having one of those days also.
1 hr. ago I was crying like a baby due to the fact that today is day 80 waiting for our LOA and other families I follow have gotten theirs when there LID were after ours.
This is our first adoption, but I can't imagine it would get any easier no matter how many times you go through it.
I hope you see your TA soon!

It is coming VERY SOON. It has to be. One thing I've noticed about the I800 process is that TAs seem to come in very predictable. It seems there are not many skips now. I'm not sure what happened to Kathy above but I do know they got their LOA in like 40 days, so they are still sailing through the process. Unlike some of us. Yeah, I'm sweating it out too, but I'm afraid I don't have much faith right now for a Christmas miracle LOA for us. Even our agency contact seems stumped and frustrated. Never seen her like that. I'm worried … and yet hopeful this means something is a-brewing. 😉 (No, I don't think a-brewing is a word! but it works)'

That is funny that my word below is "split" as in split hairs, split like "I'm outta here!" or split like a banana split maybe?! :))))

    Stefanie-
I am so with you and sweating very unladylike – like right now!!! I got a very suspicious email from my travel agency (they work with the adoption agency) about preparing for travel and to double check on our passport numbers…..but I've heard nothing from my agency. I emailed my SW (who always answers IMMEDIATELY) and have heard NOTHING (OK, it's been about 20 minutes, but still…). Maybe we'll both be up all night tonight!! Pray for me, I'll be praying for you……

I was going to email you tonight, but after reading this post…I just gotta say….PLEASE let's get our TAs TOMORROW!!!!!

I have been optimistically cautious about hoping for a quick turn around…

Really, people are getting TAs with a similar time line as ours?????

And, they are traveling before Christmas??????

    Be still my trembling heart!!!

I pray that you will hear some good news soon!! We are waiting too. I think they will be here before Christmas though. I just have a feeling in my heart. Our agency is saying travel will be end of Jan or beginning of Feb. I am hoping that Feb. will be the month to travel t get our little Jon Jon.

Just remember that when we do get TA these days will just disappear and we will be filled with so much Thanksgiving and joy!!

    Hugs,
    Jody
