seriously.

Is there something in the air? The water?

There have been some extraordinary posts going on lately.

I want to point you in the direction of two in particular I have been blessed by today. If you haven’t already been there, read it and posted a comment, I recommend you go.

Now.

Kris, on the No Hands But Ours blog, wrote a post about her insanely beautiful and bumpy journey to her new daughter, Ellis.

An eloquent, heartfelt and transparent view of what adopting through the SN program looks like. The creation of a family. A beautiful family.

Carrie on Signs of Hope wrote an incredibly moving post on the Incarnation. Seriously. moving. And timely, as we head into this season of celebrating Jesus’ birth. If I was a gambling woman, I’d bet it will change your view of Christmas. Forever.

If you’ve read anything particularly moving and/or inspiring, feel free to post a link in the comment section. Because between cleaning, cooking, wrapping, shopping and nesting, I’ve nothing better to do.

Seriously.

    Ha Ha-Stephanie–
I totally get you on the "nothing better to do comment"-I SHOULD be wrapping right now!
But-seriously–I would like to toot my own horn if possible…
Not that I am an amazing writer, or that I am anything special–but I sure have a special and amazing story that I just posted about–and I would love for everyone to share in it too!

    my blog is: http://www.lotsokidz.blogspot.com

thanks–I guess I better go do ALL that stuff I gotta do….

    I loved Carrie's post.
I just found this one tonight and it is perfect…just spoke to me deeply for such a time as this.
I do not know her personally but followed their family in China a few months ago.
    Wow.

Seriously now, I appreciate all your helpful giving ideas, but seriously I have just spent $500 in the last two hours online shopping. I am justifying it by saying you did all the work for me. I don't have to fight any crowds. I am helping some some business and charities and my family is getting some pretty cool things!!!

Can't wait for the cute tins to arrive.

Seriously, I have to stop reading your blog!

Seriously, you probably saved me money and a serious amount of time!!!

Have to say, I am getting the Melissa and Doug Castle BLocks from Amazon through New Hope of course. I know they are not on your list, but I hear they are great especially for boys into castles!

    Seriously, thanks again!!!
