olivia update

I’ve had a few emails and comments asking about the status of Olivia’s file. I contacted Lifeline today and was told this afternoon that she was not currently on hold. If you are interested, please contact Karla Thrasher or Janell Lucas or call Lifeline at 205-967-0811 right away.

This little one doesn’t have much time to find her family.

🙁 She is adorable and is just waiting. Praying her family finds her soon. I do think her file will make it to the shared list based on our recent experience. Can share more in private if you want.

OK, off topic, but I LOVE your new bloggy look and notice the sidebar where you list links to your kiddo's journeys home. How in the world did you and Chris miss 2009? I guess technically Vivi was mostly a 2009 journey but I'm thinking somehow you need to fill that spot. Maybe one born in 2009 or listed in 2009 or something with 2009! 😉 Sorry, couldn't resist.

I have heard again and again…NO exceptions to the single rule. I've had friends ask and with a child that is in DESPERATE need of a serious heart surgery…and she (Mommy) was told NO WAY.
    🙁
If only it were less complicated, I would say yes in a New York minute!
My Yani has one shorter leg and we are hoping he won't need surgery until he is finished growing, but we'll see!
If ANYONE is reading this and wants info on limb differences…ped. orthopaedics….etc…please email me at hollymac828@yahoo.com and I will be glad to share with you our experience.
It has been a breeze and by FAR one of our greatest blessings in life saying yes to God to adopt our Yani-bani! 🙂

Has anyone come forward for her yet? We are already in the process of adopting a 6 yr old and have PA for her. I would say yes if we were not already committed to our daughter. I hope she finds a forever family. She is absolutely beautiful.
    Blessings,
    Melanie
